IDT Solution
IDT partnered with the customer to design and implement a global content delivery solution. Leveraging Amazon CloudFront as the content delivery network, the architecture was reinforced with AWS WAF, AWS Shield, Amazon Route 53, and AWS Certificate Manager (ACM).
The implementation introduced regional edge caches, optimized cache policies, and data compression to reduce latency and accelerate website responsiveness across geographies. Security was significantly enhanced through managed WAF rule sets, DDoS protection, strict origin access controls, and end-to-end TLS encryption. Global DNS routing via Route 53 and lightweight request handling at the edge with CloudFront Functions further streamlined reliability and user experience.
Business Outcome: The result was a high-performance, enterprise-grade web platform that improved page load times worldwide, reduced origin load, strengthened resilience against cyber threats, and ensured a seamless, secure experience for end users - allowing the customer to scale confidently and maintain trust across global markets.

Case Study
The Challenge
The customer’s corporate website, hosted outside of AWS, faced significant limitations in delivering a high-performing and secure experience for its global user base. Geographic distance from end users resulted in higher latency and slower page load times, which negatively affected engagement and overall satisfaction. The absence of AWS-native security capabilities left the site more exposed to web-based threats and malicious traffic.
Further compounding these challenges, the existing hosting provider struggled to scale effectively during periods of peak demand, creating risks of downtime and performance degradation. As a result, the customer experienced an inconsistent user experience, with website speed and reliability varying noticeably depending on user location.
